Set in beautiful rural surroundings at the edge of the Cotswolds, Whitminster House Self-Catering Cottages are an ideal location for a relaxing break with family and friends in the heart of Gloucestershire.

Special Birthdays, Anniversaries, Reunions, Hen Parties and Stag Parties can all be celebrated in comfort and style in our cosy, characterful cottages and the West Wing of the historic Manor House - but Whitminster House Self-Catering Cottages are also perfect for that much-needed ‘escape to the country’.

Family-run, Whitminster offers a delightful venue for wonderful weekend-long Weddings where you can personalise your own Special Day to be just as you dreamed. With spacious grounds for a glamorous marquee, and the church just steps away, what could be more romantic?!

Our fully-equipped Cottages accommodate groups from 2 to 49 guests (up to a maximum of 54) with space and privacy. A Party Room in which to host special celebrations is included FREE when booking the West Wing Group.
One Cottage has level access.
Each Cottage has a garden and ample parking.

Children and Dogs are welcome; there is lots to see and do for all ages within a short distance of the Cottages and lovely walks along the Stroudwater and Gloucester/Sharpness canals or to the nearest village (and its pub!) direct from your doorstep.

"We had a lovely weekend and everyone was very complimentary about the accommodation - it was large with plenty of space, very well equipped ... The location is ideal, with gardens around, on a quiet country lane and close to lovely walks along the canals. It was a lovely break for us all and I have received messages from all of our group enthusing about the cottages. My brother had a fabulous (birthday) weekend - although he does not like surprises in general, I think this weekend was an exception!"  Family Birthday celebration group
