DIRECTIONS

 

CAR:​

1. Whitminster House is 2 miles from M5 J13 (Stroud).

2. Follow signs to Whitminster.

3. At top of hill, turn left through Whitminster Village.

4. After leaving village, continue along lane for half a mile. 

5. 150 yards after 90 degree left hand bend, fork right into Whitminster House drive, between white gates beside Lodge Cottage.

6. Keep to left drive (ignore spur to church) until manor house comes into view. 

7. Drive through wrought iron gates to Whitminster House front door, between friendly stone lions.

8. Please use the iron door knocker loudly(!)

Nearest Mainline Train Station is STONEHOUSE, c. 4 miles/10 minutes' drive away.

From London, Stonehouse is immediately (2 minutes) after Stroud, before Gloucester & Cheltenham.

It has a short platform; you will be advised to move to the front 2 carriages at Stroud, before alighting at Stonehouse Station.

There are several through trains from London daily, some requiring a change at Swindon.
