WEDDING RECEPTIONS
We offer two Wedding Packages, which can be tailored by you to fulfil your dream wedding.
GOLD PACKAGE:

This Premium Wedding Package includes the hire of the Victorian Walled Garden beside the House with a Marquee (18m x 9m) for up to 100 guests furnished with barley flooring, ivory linings, choice of chandeliers or up-lighting, a Dance Floor, Catering Annexe, chairs & tables (round or oblong), 2 pairs of outside lavatories, electricity & water supply, ample off road parking, and some night lighting.
Larger marquees to accommodate up to 250 guests and additional parking are also available.
Also included is self-catering accommodation for 49 (up to 53*) in the West Wing and Walk Farm Groups of properties. This includes a large Party/Dining room to seat 40–48* with extra crockery, cutlery, glasses, fridges & freezers for your exclusive use over the Full Weekend.
SILVER PACKAGE:
(Quotes Upon Request)
For smaller Weddings to accommodate up to 50 guests.
This Wedding Package includes the Victorian Walled Garden beside the House and a smaller Marquee (12m x 6m) for up to 50 guests, with flooring, linings and lighting, and a reduced Dance Floor. It also includes a Catering Annexe, chairs & tables (round or oblong), 2 pairs of outside lavatories, electricity & water supply, ample off road parking, and some night lighting.
Self-catering accommodation for 22 (up to 24*) in the West Wing group of properties which includes exclusive use of the adjoining Party/Dining room to seat 40-48* with extra crockery, cutlery, glasses, fridges & freezers, over the Full Weekend.
EXTRAS
To keep your celebration truly personal we encourage you to give us as many of your own ideas as possible, including Catering, Music, Photography and Decorations which we will then organise for you as our service. We can provide a range of recommendations from tried and tested suppliers, spit roasts, marquees, music, entertainments etc, plus friendly professional photographers who are brilliant at capturing all your best memories. A range of alternative lighting effects are also available and can be quoted for.
For larger numbers, the Victorian Walled Garden can accommodate an increased size of Marquee from our normal 100 up to 250 guests, with a supplementary charge.
Drinks & Corkage: We can supply a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to suit your requirements. If you wish to bring your own drinks then a £15/head corkage rate is charged (calculated based on the seating places in the marquee).
Catering: You are welcome to suggest your own, or we can recommend several for you.
Photography: We can highly recommend excellent regular photographers who know our grounds well.
Flowers and other decorations – to bring from your own gardens or we can help with recommendations.

Whitminster offers a variety of options for a Wedding Ceremony or blessing.
The closest church is St Andrews, Whitminster (Anglican), just 200 yards from Whitminster House along the Yew Walk. This historic church is set in a scenic Grove surrounded by open countryside for complete peace and privacy. There are some eligibility requirements in order to use the church for a full wedding service so please allow sufficient time to

There is temporary parking outside the Church for the use of immediate family and any Church officials required (Rector, churchwardens, organist, bell ringers etc.). Usually additional parking is required though which we can facilitate by mowing a large field adjacent to the Church, this can be arranged for an additional supplemental charge.
